Turn your volume most of the way down first. This plays sound directly into your ears. Nothing starts on its own, sound only plays when you press a control, and it always begins quietly. Loud sound can damage hearing, and hearing that is already affected may be more vulnerable. Keep the volume no louder than you need, and stop if anything becomes uncomfortable or makes your symptoms worse.
This is not medical advice, and this is not a medical device. Nothing here diagnoses, treats, cures, prevents, or manages tinnitus or any other condition, and nothing here is a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. No claim is made that any sound produced by this tool will help you.
It is an experimental tool for exploring sounds. The only mechanism it uses is masking, which means playing a sound that may make the ringing less noticeable for as long as that sound is playing. It does not remove, cancel, or reduce tinnitus itself.
Please talk to a doctor or an audiologist about your tinnitus, especially if it is new, sudden, pulsing, in one ear only, or comes with hearing loss, dizziness, or pain. Never delay or disregard professional advice because of anything you read or hear here.
